Monday - Packing, MMA and Flexibility!

Spent the day checking out the house (it looks really good!), booking appointments and packing. We take possession of our brand new house tomorrow, it's going to be a good day.

I went to MMA tonight and decided that I really need to work on my flexibility if I'm going to get better. I sometimes get the feeling that Sensai maybe doesn't think I'm trying very hard for some of the conditioning at MMA. My flexibility and endurance need a lot of work. Next week I'm going to start back at the gym with some weight training and interval cardio. I've also got Raegan helping me with a few stretches that I literally need to be pushed for. I think it's my hamstrings and groin holding me back as they feel the tightest when I attempt some of the more aggressive stretches in conditioning. Also, I really need to get a Hep A/B shot... one of the new guy's was bleeding on the mat a bit today and it kind of freaked me out.

Watched UFC 67... wow great fighting! Cro Cop is nearly as scary as Sensai. Apparently Cro Cop is an ex-Croatian Special Forces Anti-terrorist Squad Commander and K1 Heroes alumni... so is the UFC some kind of vacation for this guy? Seriously, no emotion, all business. He was there to destroy but did so with a coolness that I both admire and fine a little unsettling.
