Let the thin man out! - Thursday Grappling

I'm going a little emo here but ... I sometimes wonder what I'll look like when I'm fit, and if that will make me happier. I've said it before but, all losing the weight will do is get me back to "zero", it's forward progression but only because I'm behind. If I pull back the fat on my face I can almost see a thin man. He's looking back at me from the mirror and if I look hard enough I can imagine what he would look like without the extra flesh distorting his features. It may sound depressing to others but for some reason it makes me feel that the task isn't impossible.

I think I hurt my shoulder doing a right hook last night. I was dead tired and not using proper technique. I was just "whipping" my arm around as opposed to actually rotating my torso... but I guess a little pain to drive a lesson home is never a bad thing.

Grappling class tonight at the MMA studio. I was a little unsure if I wanted to go as I was thinking Thursdays might be a good day to do some cardio conditioning and/or weight training before the Friday MMA class. I'll have to think about that but it looks like I'm going tonight as I told Ike, James, Lance and the Sempai (a very senior student) that I would attend. I'm also going to weigh myself. (I really need to buy a good scale, preferably one that measures body fat %)
