"What do you have in giant robot salvage?"

Saturday

Saturday was a great day off! Rae and I went on a shopping spree for fairly mundane items but it was great spending time with her. We *had* intended on getting our wedding bands but unfortunately the custom jeweler (to make hers) was closed. We did have a really interesting encounter at another local jewlers where I uttered the title phrase (or some variant). After running errands I shoveled mud and frozen ice for 2 1/2 hours to clear the road in front of our new home. We were just so tired of having a "frozen mudslide" in front of the house. I moved 90% of it away so it should dry up this week and actually drain properly. Saturday night I played poker for a couple of hours at a friend's home game. Always a great time!
  • Breakfast: (Best omelet ever) 5 omega-3 eggs, 2oz low fat cheddar cheese, 2 green onions, 1 tbsp flax seeds, 1 12" whole wheat tortilla, 1/2c salsa.
  • Lunch: 10oz sirloin steak, garden salad w/ raspberry vinaigrette (B.P.'s healthy choices menu)
  • Dinner: Myoplex Deluxe Protein Bar
Sunday

Put some time in at the pit of despair today. It's days like this that really make me not want to quit. I made almost $400 in in just over 7 hours of work. I know it's not a large wage for some people, but not bad for walking around on a Sunday afternoon talking about technology :)

Made dinner for Rae and I after I got home from work and then my dad stopped by and we watched the series finale of HBO's Rome. Great show. Good to see my pop.

Also, I was 209.8 on Sunday morning.

Getting closer.
